Solana is growing up so quickly. Every parent says that, a million timesover! Being in the moment though, it feels overwhelming. I feel like I was just pregnant and now she is trying to do everything on her own. How did we get from point A to point M so quickly?
So while she is still semi-small, I want to always remember these little quirks about my baby girl ...
- She calls polka dots, "poke a nuts".
- She gets so offended when she does something cute and we laugh, "It's NOT funny!"
- She loves to sing ... her tone isn't that great (she gets that from me!) ... but I love to hear her sing!
- She is very particular about her hair and about which parent does things for her at certain times.
- She always tells me she wants kisses "late" ... meaning I can only give her kisses at night. I also tease her by asking for "besitos" (kisses, in Spanish) all the time, just to hear her say she wants hers late lol
- She has recently become more comfortable in social settings ... she always wants us to roll down her window when we go through drive throughs, so she can say hi to the workers!
- Speaking of drive throughs, her favorite food is french fries, from McDonald's preferably!
- She loves pink, she loves ponies, she loves dolls, she loves dresses, she is ALL girl :)
I am so going to miss her at this age. But I also look forward to every second of her ongoing childhood too!
